Carolyn (Metcalf) Barnette

Carolyn Metcalf Barnette, 77, of Green Creek passed away August 8, 2015 at the Hospice House of The Carolina Foothills.  She was the daughter of the late Guy and Evelyn Thompson Metcalf and wife of Wayne Barnette.

She was a caregiver and a member of Green Creek First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Sean Hyde of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; two grandchildren, Ian Hyde and J.C. Hyde.

Carolyn was predeceased by a son, Darren W. Barnette; two brothers, Bruce Metcalf and Billy Metcalf.

Graveside services will be 11:00am Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Green Creek First Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Allen McKinney.
